It is on an old DOS machine. What do I need to do to delete teh notification? Do you mean to go into the Notify->Class Of Service and delete the 900 and then add that back? Thanks. Scott

The Field Description for the 900 Class of Service looks like the following:
CLASS OF SERVICE DEFINITIONS Class of Service : 900 Description : Message waiting lamp ON (analog DTMF)
Schedule Number :5 24hours-7days Restart COS if New Msg? : Y Perform for EACH NewMsg : N Delay Until First Try : Single Notifications : N Delay Until Retry : 10 Urgent Only Activation? : N Maximum Retry Delay : TDDFAX Only Activation : N Maximum Tries : 1 Require NER:NUMBER : N Check Call-Blocking : N Require NER:NUMBER? N Check Notify-Enable? : N Require UDT:EXTENSION : Y
Just want to make sure, I should delete this whole thing and then add it back just like it is?
Thanks. Scott

Well, that did not work. I guess that I will just live without my light on. The software does show that I have a message when I leave one, it just does not turn on the light.
Thanks for all the help. Scott

Once again, I really don't know much about the system. A saw the following on the 2 boxes.
Toshiba Strata chsub672A chsue672A
This can't be a DK and the 656/657 codes are used only on the DK series, NOT the CTX/CIX 672.
You must go into administration via laptop with Toshiba software loaded.
If you have an AMDS1A mounted on the BCTU processor you can have someone remotely log into your system and program it for you.
If you have a BECU/BBCU processor the remote modem is built in.

One of the techs that use to work on our system told me it was a DK. Maybe it has been changed since he was here. I knew that they always brought the laptop software with them. Should the school have gotten a copy of that software when they purchased the toshiba system? I don't know of having it anywhere. Thanks. Scott

It is probably a DK 424i and either the #656/#657 or the 656/657 codes should work depending on prog 05.

I have seen a DK in a chsub672A cabinet. I wasn't working on Toshiba then, but I was told that Toshiba came out with that cabinet before the CTX 670 was released.

Could we go on site and see what the CPU card says so this is not a 100 post guessing game?
Please and thank you.
