I just purchased a used Stratagy 4-Lite voice mail system and I am trying to log into the unit with my administrative software and work station, but the seller can't provide me with the Admin password. Is there a way to reset the password on the unit to the default.I am familiar with the default password, but don't know how to reset it. Help!

The previous owner should be required by law to give you the password, otherwise you probably need to contact Toshiba to dial in and reset it for you.

I contacted Toshiba and they say they no longer support the Lite series, however, there must be a back door. Does anyone know it?

Are you tring to connect to it using a laptop in DOS?

Yes, I am using a null modem cable that works fine on another Stratagy, but it is obvious that someone changed the password in this one. I am not sure why Toshiba won't help ... it is possible that the new guys there don't know how to get into these older voicemail systems.
