We'll need to know a few minor things, like which Toshiba switch you have, and which voice mail you have. Little things make all the difference in the world! welcome

Just out of curiopusity have you call forwarded that phone to voicemail if you have try to delete it out of the phone and then put the call forward back in the phone. I know what I am trying to say Phill may be able to explain it better it has been a while since I have had to program a 280.

this could also be becauce the phone port isn;t programmed in program *32 or the message feature isn't turned on in the VM unit itself. Sounds like you may need a service call to troubleshoot this one

Have you tried swapping phone sets? I had one set where either the LED or electronics quit - handset, dial and speaker all worked fine, as well as the LEDs for the INT and CO buttons (never tested the other feature buttons which don't normally light up).
I ended up putting that set at an extra desk where there was no voicemail.

What Amy meant was - a service call to your business by a certified Toshiba technician.

Does the call forward to voicemail? If so then program 603 (call forward no answer) is OK.

Does the call go into the correct mailbox? If so then program 657 91 xxx (extension) is OK.

If the above is OK, then program 657 92 XXX (extension) is not set correctly.

[Intercom] 6 5 7 9 2 [Extension number] [Redial button] and your light will light up.

This is all in a Toshiba phone user guide and if you do a search on [Message Waiting] in the top bar of this page you will find MANY, MANY posts explaining this.

Sorry but I am a little slow, but I can not get this one voicemail to work for the life of me. I have read the manual front to back. When I send a call over the that extension it will not go into voicemail. When I program #603 it asks where to forward the call. I am not sure what I am supposed to enter there. Is this a standard number or do I need to know some sort of special number for voicemail?

Look on one of the other phones that does forward to voicemail, it should say something like cf-na xx-yy where xx is that extension # and yy is the voicemail extension #. Call the yy extension to verify that's actually the voicemail.

OK I think we are making progress thank you all for your help. So all of my phones except for two read CF-BN: XX-YY
When I try to program Call Forward No Answer #603 or Call busy no answer #604 it will not program. Any suggestions?

OK here is a little more info. When I do program #601 and put a call through it goes to the main voicemail greeting instead of that extensions voicemail. Any help will be greatly appreciated
