the other day I helped a guy that did not have program 13 programed correctly. But this one we figured out the the VM was bad we worked on it for about 1 hour.

OK Scot you win, you made me go out to the warehouse on a Sunday and get a Stratagy VM to find the answer after seeing what you posted as a notify string.
Lets see if I can walk you thru this,
Go to a mailbox any mailbox and do a ALT N this will take you to the Notify page. You should have 2 rows used, 1st is DK14/40 Light ON 2nd is LGHT OFF. Using Pg/Dn to toggle, look to the bottom of the template you will find Enable, M T W T F S S, From, To, Notify After, Contuinue Every, Max Times, Title, Type, Variable and Method. And it should look like this:

Enable:Yes
M-S: Y
From: 00:00
To: 23:59
Notify After: 0
Cont Every: 1
Max: 1
Title: DK14/40 Light on (or Light Off)
Type: Normal (for ON) Pickup (of off)
Variable:
Method: W(5,T)#63%E- (for on)
W(5,T)#64%E- (for off)

I think you are on the right track, Jules and I verified that the DK40 is programmed correctly. I am going to try the codes you listed. Also, my Stratagy does not have a 14/40 option in the template but the code string you posted will remedy that.
I will try this and post the results

One thing I forgot to put in there was when your in the notify section, ALT T gets you into Templates and Page Down to move thru them. I think DK14/40 are the last 2 listed. You maybe able to use DK280 or 424 just check the Method.
