Have a customer that wants to send an email notify to the sales people on the sales floor when they get a voicemail message. They have multiple site across the country already doing this however, certain sites don't recieve the email. Funny thing is, I set up UM and that works fine but when I try to send an email notify, it doesnt go through. Checked it out through Stratagy trace and all looks good, I get all the correct commands and it looks like the email was sent, it just never gets delivered. Any obvious reason why this would be happening?

Have the IT guy check the admin account/spam box/redirect mailbox.

Ill have him check it but Im pretty sure thats not it. This is a large nation wide furniture store and they all use the same exchange server. Some stores get the email notify, and some dont. Also, like I said, UM messages get delivered fine.

check the sys_smtpserver_gateway and sys_smtpserver_host settings.
Also older versions of IES had difficulties in this, version 4.XX works good.
Good Luck

Are you using the email notify to email the user that they have messages?

MJ the iES is on the latest 4.617 software, phonemeister, yes, we are trying to use it to just send the user an email that says "1 new, 2 saved messages". Just the email notify template in the notify tab. Like I said we have this set up and working in some of their other stores and they seem to like it. Here's an update. Checked the spam filter and all that and thats not the problem. The IT guy there swears that its a compatability issue with Exchange 2007. He can direct the messages to their old Exchange 2003 server and they get delivered fine, but when they get directed to the Exchange 2007 server they dont get delivered. Anybody have any insight into this?

You said you ran a trace? Did you see where it says something like message is queued and ready for delivery or accepted for delivery? If so, the exchange server accepted the message. What happens after that is the email server's doing. Maybe copy the trace and post it here. Also, have the users check their junk folders or spam folders?
