I did not change anything - thats why I ALWAYS ask first. I did get the recording to work from my desk phone and am able to record to a vm box that I setup other than mine just fine, but what I am really wanting to do is to record from one of our managers desk phones while an employee (who uses the OAYSIS netphone) is on an ACD or one of our dialer calls. When I am in ACD monitoring mode my recording button will not activate. Any thoughts on how to make that work?

Put a record button on the phones that are part of the ACD group , and have them record the calls to your mailbox.

I know Ultimate had a recording solution that was a little weird but it worked. It was a device connected to the handset of the Toshiba phone connected to the computer saving all calls to a shared drive so the supervisor could listen to them.

Echo isn't sold anymore as far as I know.

There is another similar option, don't recall what the product name was but connected in-line with the DKT and via usb to the PC. I wasn't impressed, but it did work.

Talkument is probably your best bet, Tracer is designed for Call Centers & ACD (and is what is used with the Netphone Record button) but is SPENDY.

Also make sure your state isn't a 2 party notification state...probably isn't as you aren't in California.

If Echo isn't sold anymore, I would hope they update their website.

She can call them and see if there is a solution for what she is wanting to do.

Check out Trivium Systems. We use some of their recording devices.
