Getting a error 1722 message when I try to load Network eManager B11 on my Toshiba laptop, it's a fresh install of XP SP3 and I had it loaded on here before I recovered it.
The error occurs when it tries to install the c++ 2005 patch.
Any ideas?

Did you install the NeM B11 software onto a clean XP SP3 install?
The error 1722 is usually caused by a windows installer package conflict with a windows installer package already installed.
Download the windows installer cleanup utility from the web and you will be able to remove any installer packages that are conflicting. It could be the MSXML 6.0 Parser that needs to be removed then run the install again.

I am also getting an error when the eManager installation tries to install the "Virtual C++ Patch 2005" on my Windows 7 machine. The computer tells me I do not have Administrator rights. This machine is mine and nobody else uses the machine. I even signed on as Administrator and still get the error. Any ideas?

Try changing your user name to Administrator and see if that helps.

I turned on the Administrator user, which is called Administrator. That does not help. It is probably something simple.

One other thing you might try is running the setup program as administrator. Right click on the setup.exe and select 'run as administrator'.
I found that if you are a member of the local administrators (and domain administrators if on a windows network)that should solve the problem.

It looks like I got a bit closer to installing emanager. Even though I still got the error about privilages, the install program installed more other stuff. My system still gets stuck when it has to load "c++ 2005 patch". I am the administrator. I shouild not get these errors. Any more ideas?
