I got stock with few problems. 1. System is not recognising GVPH1A VM card even I reinitialize system twice. VM working but doesn't lite MW light and some how it rejects me with default pswd. Gives a message that remote pswd is not correct. Should be a new card?! I do install. Didn't buy it. eManager freezes up every time I do Submit command. Using 4.1 and 3.1 releases. 2. The biggest problem is a Intercept. Customer would like to use AA as a back up coverage but I can't find in the life of me what should be done. I Enable intercept in the COS. I know that I can't use DIT but can't fined where in the programming I need to tel that Intercept should be pointed to HG Pilot number after so and so numbers of rings or use a time. Can somebody help please? I read that VM is LVMU1 card but GVPH1A is compatible as well. What is actually right?

Seems to be a lot of questions in those 2 items. I doubt that the voicemail is bad. If you did not buy it then the voicemail may already have programming with other informations. Did you initiallize both the voicemail and the CIX processor? For the most part the CIX 40 is plug and play.
DIT is where to progam the destination for the CO lines. The voicemail isn't going to intercept a call or answer a ringing line (unless a memeber of a multiple call group). You send a call somewhere, like to an extension, phantom or multiple call group, then the extension (or group) will be setup to forward to the voicemail. Using an MCG with the VMID blank will get the AA to play.
For a CIX-40 the correct voicemail card is a a GVPH1A, and that is the only card you can use. The LVMU is for other systems, like the CIX 100 or CIX 670.
Emanager could give some strange problems if the version of emanager is lower then the version on the processor.

Yes, I reinitialized system and VM twice. If I go into the system's card Assignment slot 5 shows empty. In drop down menu I have GVPH1A but if I try to Install it rejects me with card Mismatch message. If I try to assign code 026 to slot 5 through the phone it won't store that info either. So I have no clue where to go. What about MW light? Why its not lighting up? BTW VM isn't bad. Its working. Plays Greeting, send calls to Ext. and personal MB, gives a visual number of messages on Display but wont let me in and no MWL.

If it is working, but you don't see it assigned in emanager, I think the problem is in the emaanger not the voicemail. Card assignments is one of the areas where you usually get errors when the version of emanager is older then the processor version.
Not sure why you can not get into the VM orwhy the MWL is not working. The most common reason the MWL stops working is when the digit length is changed form 3 to 2 digits or 4.

Steve, I didn't change numbering plan and I left number of digits to default(10). Should I change it to 3?
Voyager, I can't log in into Stratagy. Its rejected me with wrong remote Password.

I think Steve is on the right path.....
If the SMDI Integration isn't working properly, the VM will answer but the MW lights won't work. When you dial the VM Pilot number does it say "Enter your security code?" or does it play the main greeting?
If it plays the greeting, then SMDI isn't working. You will need to find the password to check the base port number.

I know that SMDI Integration is not working csuse instead of a security code it plays Main greeting but I took battery off of a system and GVPH card twice for about 2 min.to reinitialize the hall thing and have no result. This is supposed to be Plug-n-Play installation but. The only I think that digits send to VM to leave and retrieve messages has to be set up to 3 not 10 but I am not sure.
