can someone tell me what slot location an mipu16 can go in. and what slot has to be empty if its in a even or odd slot. This is a cix 100 w/expansion.

I would put it in 3 or 5. Preferrably 3. Then you are covered if you need to expand to an MIPU-24. What card is in slot 3 now?

there is a pri in slot three if I put it in slot 5 can I use slot 6. They are only going to be using about 5-8 channels for stratanet.

All the slots on the CTX/CIX 100 are 16 port
slot 3 is a special slot and can support 32 ports but this reduces slot 4 to a 8 port slot.

Follow up question, MIPU only works on CIX100 with ACTU3A or will it work with ACTU2A also?
