Thank you beforehand to all that respond. I have a sub. with a CTX 100 and an IVP8 R2 installed 6/13/06. I have never been able to get the direct transfer to VM to work. It is my understanding that Cnf/Trn, #407, extension number, # is supposed to work. Went back over Sat. and redid everything I could think of. Checked Stratagy configuration-SMDI base port is set to 501 (VM extensions are 501-504). Still no luck. The other problem I noticed is message retrieval. If the MSG light is flashing, instead of going to that particular mailbox when pressed, it goes to the mailbox 990, then to 991---just as it would with an incoming call. In order to hear messages you have to press * while the greeting is played, the enter ext., #, then pw #. I am out of ideas to try or settings to check. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Few things to check, make sure you have the correct pbx selected in the IVP8, right after you log in it displays this and should say CTX100 w/SMDI. Make sure your PPTC-9 and cable work and are plugged into the correct serial port. Make sure the CTX is licensed for a serial port. Check that all stations have their VMID's set correctly and that all your SMDI integration programming is correct. It sounds to me like there is something wrong with your SMDI integration.

Thanks to both of you for responding. Travis, the vm system was set for just the CTX100 and the port in the configuration was set to 1 instead of 2. Took several times of changing to 2 before it finally took the change. Everything is working correctly. Thanks again.
