Hello,

I have some Toshiba DKT3220-SD phones. How can I program a button in order to make Call Forwarding available to users so they simply press the button to forward (and input the extension) their calls? Currently, a user must know the programming in order to forward calls. The phones currently do not have a button assigned.

I am using Toshiba CTX system with the Stratagy ES & eManager software.

Program a call forward all button. Then take a look at the user guide for the instructions on how to program that button's destination.

Thanks Phonemeister,

However, that has presented a challenge. I looked it up online and found the following instructions for programming a button:

1. Press #9876 to enter User Programming Mode.
2. Press Hold.
3. Press the Flexible Button to set or change.
4. Enter the Flexible Button Code (I use All Call – which is 340)
5. Press the same Flexible Button (flashing) to save the setting. “DATA PROGRAMMED” appears on your LCD.

The program steps appears to be working but when I tested it…nothing.

You also have to use user programing mode to program a destination for that button.

There are two steps to programming a forward-all button. Step one is what you performed above. Step two is where you tell the forward-all button what the destination is.
1. Press #9876
2. Press the call forward button you just programmed
3. Enter the destination DN, or if you want to forward to an external number, enter 9+1+area code+phone number+#(pound key)
4. Press the call forward button again
5. Exit user programming
Now when you press the forward-all button it will toggle on and off.
