I have 5 Toshiba DKT2010-SD which all have their own 2-digit speed dial codes (11->16).

I would like to program some of the buttons on the phone to automatically dial a specific 2digit code rather than having to remember which code to enter.

In other words, I would like to be able to press the button labeled "SD1" and have it automatically call station #11.

So far all I have been able to find online and in the manual is information to set full phone numbers to shortened speed dial numbers (page 53 of the manual). I want to simplify it further since I only ever really call a few numbers but have difficulty remembering which one goes where.

Does anyone here know how to do this or if it is even possible?

Program 39 Flexible key assignment. Are you asking for DSS...Direct station selection or Speed dial keys?? Which KSU do you have? DK, CTX,CIX??

I am not sure about everything that was said in that, I don't know too much about these phone systems.

I don't know what "Program 39 Flexible key assignment" is.

Direct station selection sounds like what I am looking for.

My phone looks like this: https://imgur.com/QJ6Hn
The labels are as follows going from top the bottom:
-Speed Dial
-Do Not Disturb
-SD3
-SD2
-SD1
-Line 4
-Line 3
-Line 2
-Line 1
-Intercom

SD1, SD2, SD3 are not used and seem to have the exact same functionality as the intercom.

How do I find out what KSU I have?

You will have to get into admin level programming which we can't discuss on the boards. If you aren't familiar with programming, you can do more harm than good. It can be overwhelming. The Dk 424 manual is as thick as a phone-book. You can download the manual and attempt it. Your KSU (brain) has a model number on it. You will need that to know which manual to download. DSS is also in program 39.

First, we don't know what Toshiba control unit you have so getting a manual without that info is useless.

Older units would have a label on them such as DK16, DK16e, DK40, DK401, DK280, DK424 and newer units would have labels such as CX28, CIX40, CIX100 and so on.

Why don't you go look at your main box and tell us what you have, a specific phone can be used on any digital control unit.

Alright, this all sounds pretty complicated and while I am very comfortable with tech as far as computers go, I am worried about messing up the phone system so I will just let it go.

Thank you for all of your help though.

I am having trouble finding the answer to this exact question. I have the dk16.Old I know but it was given to my church for free and now i'm stuck programing the thing. I just can't seem to find the answer on how to program the feature buttons. Can someone steer me in the right direction.

Program 81 for immediate day ringing.
Program 39 for flex key assignment.
Download the manual, it will help.
