have been searching all over for this answer and cannot find it anywhere. I've been through the manual and still no mention of setting up a connection to remotely log into ies32 using the es manager software. do i have to set up another network connection like on the remote ctx1 but name it something else? any help would be appreciated.

You have to create yourself a Remote dial up connection much like remote CIX there is a bulletin regarding it actually as there are some changes required on the IES itself to ensure remote access. PM me if you need the bulletin.

forgot to say you could also browse into IES via customers web connection with some port forwarding setup on their edge router.
