You have to use LCR at every remote site. You would then dial 9 and the number, the system modifies the digits to include the access code for the PRI trunk group (1800 if group one) and then redials the number dialed. Hopefully you are somewhat fimiliar with LCR programming including modify digits tables.

I enable lcr. they dial 9 plus a number and it grabs CO line group 2. then errors out. I don't think it knows to go to the hub and dial across the PRI. via networking tables or something like that.

CO Line group 2 is the voip channels. How does the hub know that it is receiving a call to dial out instead of intercom call. I tried to insert the lcr code 3800 which is (leading number 3 + 800 lcr code) it still did not work.

Your LCR at the node(s) must be set to grab a one of the VOIP trunks when 9 is dialed (typically group 2), then the insert/delete table must insert another 9.

I inserted the 9 as well as a test. do you have to tell the networking tables to send the 9 + to the hub

You have to add the code for the pri group to networking progamming at each remote site the same as you would for the range of extensions. In other words, in flash 16 programming if the start is 1100 for an extension...the end of the range has to be 1800 for the trunk group 1 at the hub or create a new range just for that code. Try it manually and you will see what I mean. Direct access a VOIP trunk from a remote site, then dial the access code for the pri co group and then dial a local number. You need to programm the LCR to do exactly the same thing but it in a different two step manor. LCR at the remote site has to dial grab the voip line through network programming, dial the 1800 then pause then dial the local number.

Voip calls have to b 4 digits (leading digit plus extension or access code) in a networking situation , if you don't have it set up that way, you will not be able to get it to work. I have a 5 site 4 digit network, At the remote site I can dial 1800..this takes me across the viop lines and gives me a trunk off the PRI at the hub, then I can dial a local number witout a nine. When using LCR I program all local calls to grab group 2 the voip lines...pause,add 1800 (which is programmed in flash 16 programming..digit 9 will not work) pause again and then dial the local number out on the PRI. All this is contigent on having a network keycode and using leading digit (4 digit extension, feature and access codes for it to work)
