I was given a 5000-00 for our business a few years ago. We had to shut down the system for we moved our business and recently put it back online.
The people who gave me the system wouldn't give me the system manual and then wanted to charge us to come back out to reprogram the system.
I don't mind paying them, but all I need is to find out how to make my second extension to ring.
Also is the 5000-00 equivalant to any other system. The phones we have are the Starplus STS's.
I found some manuals on some webpage, but they don't mention the 5000.
Any help we be a blessing. I have experience with Ayaya, and Lucent systems but this one is new as it come to the programming.
Blessings! Rich

The system you have is either a Starplus Triad-S or an infinite Mach 1. This system will not support the STS phones at all. You will need to obtain an STS or STSe KSU in order to support those phones.

Wel the STS's are already on the system and have been working. They were programmed at one time and worked great. But they stopped working.
Now I don't know what I have. The bottom of the phone has IN9015-71. The book they gave us has Starplus STS for the owners manual. The system box has 5000-00. Does this help any?

Oh, that makes much more sense. The IN9015-71 phones look very similar to the STS phones.
The programming between these systems is identical, so if you are able to obtain a programming manual for the Vodavi infinite MACH1, that would be your best bet. Check the link at the top of this page to get yourself a copy so that you'll have it in the future. In a pinch, you can use the STSe programming manual.
