Here is yet another centrex transfer question....
I can do a centrex transfer just fine from a phone, but the PathfinderIS will not. Once it hits the "660" in the command file, it will drop the line which will then cause it to ring back into the system a few seconds later. Went through each step in the flash timer up until the flash would no longer work.
Called tech support, but left the site after I was on hold for an hour, but they said to make sure "conference" was enabled for the VM port, which is new to me. Checked the programming and it is enabled on all ports.
Thinking it may be a registry entry? Seeing if anyone has had a similar experience.
The easiest solution would be to just use a speed bin but the customer does not want to use two lines for this....they may have to.

I have, on occasion, tried to get a Vodavi digital voice mail to make a centrex transfer, never with any success. I could with an Analog voice mail.
The key is to try what you want to do with a display phone, if it will not flash using a code as opposed to a button, the IS will not do it either.

This may be proving your point, but how would one do a flash without using a button on a display phone? If you use the hookflash like on an SLT, it would release the line.....but it would not call back like it does on the Pathfinder.
I am going to stop by tomorrow and try to make a couple edits to the command file to satisfy my own morbid curiosity.

Yeah, it is treating 660 as a three-digit extension, thus transferring the caller to it. This is definitely an issue that will require a custom command file, but it can be done. Please don't ask me how.

Are you just wanting to xfer to a cell phone or such? Centrex xfer shouldn't be any different, really, than a telco CO xfer. Your command file would typically have a (&) command followed by 660, a pause and then your number. Centrex of course, typically starts with a digit [9]. I have also created flexible command files that use the mailbox notification field as the number to xfer to. This then eliminates the need to park the system every time you need to change the number. Here's a related post for some ideas: here That's about all the time I've got for now. I'm up to my eyeballs in alligators this week.

Tried it every way possible and no go. The analog pathfinder at a different site works perfect, the same command file on digital drops the call.
Went with off net forwarding on the analog port and all is well.
Thanks always for the advice.

Just plain weird. But as long as a work around took care of it, that's good enough for me!

660 will simply not work with a digital port, even if part of a command file.
