I recently bought a Bizfon 680 unit. USED. I hooked up a phone line to CO1 and a analog phone to extension 1 and powered up the unit. the lights start flashing as it boots up. i end up with 3 green lights on and thats it. i dont get any audio message and i am unsure where to go from here. does anyone have any ideas. besides throwing it away and buying another one?
Thanks,
George

Are you using these steps:

1. Plug all devices in the correct place.
2. Plug power in (must wait until phones and lines are pluged in).
3. Wait for about 90 seconds until you hear :The Bizfon is ready..."
4. Press Blue button.
5. Follow all instructions.

If you are not getting any audio after all that I suppose you could have a bad speaker on the unit. Also, I am not sure, but you might have to have a Bizfon phone for ext. 100, but that could be totaly wrong.

Where are the othe LEDs? I know that the Lines have an LED to let you know they are working, and if I remember correctly so do the telephons....but could you describe where they are?

inside the unit in the back right corner there are 5 LEDs. they are all labeled.
1. PWR
2. ADSP
3. MOT
4. SH3 1
5. SH3 2
I am not sure what they are for but during the boot they flash and what not...and then when it stops booting 1, 2 and 3 are on and the others are off. I never hear any sound from the speaker and it goes through the process of booting and then the illuminated bizfon button goes off and it sits there forever. i have tried hooking up some bizfon2 phones and it makes no difference. any help would be greatly appreicated.
Thanks,
also if anyone knows of anywhere i can get it repaired i would appreciate it as well.
George
