I connected to an IPK 64. And wanted to upload the data.
When I selected upload a warning screen came up saying..
"Warning you are attempting to upload data saved fram a version 54 KTS to a version 53 KTS. Data needs to be converted, are you sure you want to proceed?"
Is it ok to convert? Or will I mess up the existing programming?
I'm using the Elite IPK SAT software.

Sounds like you are trying to upload a database from a newer system to an older system. Convert the data or save it under another name before the conversion if in doub so you still have the original.

All I wanna do is when connected to the switch, I want to upload the data to my computer to save the system info.
And then if I make any changes download it back.
Is this the right procedure?
When I clicked upload in the SAT software, that is the message I got.

you want to DOWNLOAD from the system. make your changes. then UPLOAD them back.
