I have very little experience on the Electra elite (with inskin VMS). I installed this system over a year ago (with lots of tech support)and I haven't been back since.
They want a stand alone phone number to go directly to a mail box to be checked every couple of days.
ON a nortel, you really can't do this woth out sending it to a phone and call forwarding the phone to it's mbox.
ccan someone please give me a very specific walk through on this?
I hate to sound like an idiot, but i don't knopw this system.!!!! :shrug:

1>build a car key (do a search it's been discussed alot)
2>forward car key to vm (go to ext 100 do a speaker 47 car key ext then the vm pilot ext)
3>on line you need forwarded dit/ana (day/night ring) it to the car key ext (dit=program 3-42, ana=program 3-43)

how are u going to check the messages, because if u don't have a physical phone, u have to program other things to get it working properly. u need to discuss this with your customer and see what is best. if u just build a car key, u have to call the vmail and dial *2# twice and then 9+car key ext number to check your messages, or do u want a mw indication
