I found the programming A little different over the phone but when I got the admin software it's a piece of cake .The stands do concern me a little,but none have broke YET!!!!! Jayman

Mitch,
There are small tabs at the top of the legs that unfold to support the legs in the high position. Push the legs flat against the phone base and you will see them. When the tabs are rotated and the legs are set into position, the stand is incredibly strong.
Please comment again about the legs after you have tried this.

Minus a couple features that I would like to see I like this system! Only thing that bothered me is that they changed some terminology on a couple of things. But that is no big deal at all!
The main thing is that I have gotten better support on this system than any other system I have dealt with. After the comdial issues that are going on we have switched to strictly NEC sales witht this system and the aspire!!
Definitely a home run!

Thanks for the reply. We worked really hard to create a new leg design (patent pending) that was strong and very simple to use. However, we didn't anticipate that using the tabs for the high posistion would be a problem. Unfortunately customers don't always read the phone user guide. I think we'll put a video demo up on necdsx.com and YouTube.com to illustrate the operation.

I'm installing my first DSX 160. Definitely impressed with it overall so far. It took me a few minutes to find those tabs too, but I DID read the literature  Very nice system.
