Thank you everyone for your responses. I officially have been approved to attend the course and take the test in 2010. I have the manual now and will be doing some studying thanks to your advice about the difficulty of the exam. I discovered that we require our vendors to have a RCDD on staff currently and this would actually alleviate that requirement and allow for more vendors to bid. I also think this will give me more confidence when I am working with the rest of the staff and they might have more respect for me given the effort I am putting in to learn all I can about the industry. Again, thank you.
