I have about 5 LXmail sites with IPK2s here that report callers leaving messages being cut off during record. Sometimes the trunk drops and sometimes thet are not aware anything has happened. When the messages are played back they just stop in mid sentence. All sites are on BRI ISDN. The customers are not complaining about any normal calls being cut off.
The worse site, a school has had a DOS mail put in and the problem has gone which kind of points to the LXmail. I have the site LX mail and the system dump run up in the lab and can not reproduce the problem even if I drop trunk speach levels down by 20db on the analog fone that I am calling out on.

Anyone come across this problem??

Check the call length disconnect timers. Check the V-mail record timers.

Have you checked the integration line for the LX make sure it is set for IPK2.

We do not have BRI circuits on any of our IPK II's. I have not experienced this on PRI or CO Lines.

Are the calls that are getting cut off from land lines, cell phones any internal?

External only on the school site they are from landlines though on other sites I don't know. As I said above we have not had any problems on the school site since the DOS VMS was installed about a month ago. Running log traces at one site to see if we can pin it down..
