Help!
We have an ASPIRE running as a key system with 34B display phones. All of them are set to pick up the incoming ringing line...except one. It works right when an extension calls it, or when receiving a DID call; it won't work with a regular inbound call to the main system number. I can detect no difference so far in the programming of this unit to the rest. In an effort to fix it, I changed parameter 20-10-07 (Auto-offhook Answer) to "on" instead of off. I tested it and it made no difference. However, now I have at least 3 other phones that are now doing the same thing even though I changed it back. Any ideas?

The feature you're describing is "Ringing Line Preference"..... which means going off-hook will answer which ever line is ringing. The stations must be programmed to ring on the calls to the main number. That is why extension-to-extenstion calls and DID calls work when you go off hook. A station not programmed to ring for incoming calls to the main number would have to select the ringing line to answer it.

In program 2205 add that extension to the same ring group the rest of your phones are in, most likely IRG 1, if you don't want it to ring but still be able pick up ringing lines after adding it to the ring group go to program 2206 and turn the ringing off on that phone for everynight mode service you don't want it to ring.
