I have a customer that has "zapped" his system. he said that he was adding a new extension and crossed the two wires with another wire from another extension. (the power was on while he was doing this) he said all of the phones did not go dead but now continuosly say "SYSTEM START-UP IN PROGRESS" which I know usually stays on there for a minute or two after powering up the system if everything is working properly. I wanted to get some opinions from other people rather than have to got to the site with a lot of boards and replace every one till it works. I'm not sure but i think that it is the cpu card because he said he put the ddk connector from an extension that was working before he crossed the wires and tried it on the other digital card and still nothing. so does everyone else think its the cpu or am i just weird.

Thanks in advanced for all input,
Daniel

I would take everything with you. If you don't your inviting old man murphy to stick his hand in this. I might even take a cabinet and leave it in the truck.

Well i was thinking about that last night so this morning when i got to work i went to go and see if we had any of the boards in stock and we dont even have them in stock the only one that happens to be i stock happens to be the CPU card. Its been a while since i have worked with these and just wanted to know if it sounds to any of you guys like the CPU card went out before i order the rest of the cards.

Thanks,
Daniel
