I think you may have an Elite 192 rather then an Elite IPK. The COID/B cards need to be assigned in slots 1-4 if this is the case.

OK. still struggling with this issue.

I checked the COIB card which is in slot 4. Jumber S1 is shorted, so it is in COID mode. I checked 7-1 and it is set ok there as well.

I came across 3-44... does that apply, and if so, how?

I rechecked the other programming above and still I do not have any Caller ID displaying on the designated phones/ports.

Again, I have confirmed with a Butt set that I have CID from the phone company present at the MPOE.

pulling what is left of my hair out. any more suggestions?

Yes it is if your software Release lower then 1700.
You have to assign CID CO line for each phone you wish a CID to be displayed. I didn't read all posts but I will remind you that those dedicated Extensions must ring on CO lines you are trying to have CID to be displayed.

If trunk calls are DIT'd to ring to CAR keys instead of line keys check MB 4-49 Caller ID for CAR key assignment.

"Well, I checked the 1-1-08 class of service and made sure that the CID settings were allowed... for COS 1 and then went to 4-17 and set all stations on ports 03 and up to be COS 1."

I Think That's 1-8-08 Feature COS(2),And 4-17 Should Be CLS(2)=01 or 00.

Thanks VAD60, my manual does not even show a page 7 for 1-8-8... I will try it...

can you tell me more about 3-44? I don't understand. I sounds like it is for dedicated lines, that only ring on one terminal.. you assign that line to that terminal for CID display... but these lines are common to multiple extensions...

thanks

One more complication that I did not mention... this system is set up in three tenant mode. The caller ID CO lines and the handsets we are trying to display CID on are in Tenant 3... if that makes any difference in how we are programming stuff.

NOthing is working. Any other ideas... Any thoughts on whether the tenant feature is holding us up?

Try putting them in tenant 1 and see if it works.
