Hello.I have a DSX80 with a funky problem.Talked with nec support on this and still cant fix it.The problem is this. When a dss owner answers a call, transfers to say ext 311.it rings the next dss owner on speaker phone and then place's the call.the 2nd owner can here the conversation or the vm?it only happens on the 2nd 3rd and 4th dss owners?not the first one.Ports are correct,no hunt group is programmed and I'm at a loss.Any insight to this unique situation is welcome.
Thanks

What are the station numbers of each console owner? Each DSS console has it's own number. Do not confuse DSS numbering and station numbering in program 1202-01. If you are assigning DSS's to ports in 1202-01,...let's say port 13 is DSS1, and port 14 is DSS2, port 15 is DSS3, and port 16 is DSS4.... then DSS1's ID is 301, DSS2's ID is 302, DSS3's ID is 303, DSS4's ID is 304. Do not confuse these ID's with station numbers.... they are not the same (of course it would have been more logical if the engineers had given the DSS numbers something other than 300's). The system automatically assigns the first DSS as 301... you have to assign the rest. Finally, check once more in program 2401-01 to ensure each DSS console is assigned a different key set.
Hope this helps.
