I know just enough to get myself in trouble! smile You all my remember me from before. I have a VERY strong IT background, but limited on telephone equip. I own my own mortgage biz, and setup my own DS2000 system. I asked on this board a lot of questions about how to setup where the greeting says to press extension for who you want, or 0 to make all phones ring. Then if no one answers all call, then it goes to general delivery mailbox. Now, after working correctly for a few months, it suddenly says the mailbox is full! But, I have deleted all of the voicemails out of the box from my handset? Any idea how to fix? Also, I remote in through DS2000 administrator on my server....Thanks!

There is no general delivery mailbox. Calls are more than likely being sent to a ring group and then if unanswered going to that mailbox. If that is the case you should have a message center mb for that specific mailbox on designated phones. Start at mb 600.

OK. I realize now I used the wrong terminology. So, I have a key on my phone set to flash when there is a message in mb 600. Right now, I go to mb 600, and it tells me that there are no messages in there....even saved messages. So, why is the person hearing, "I am sorry, that mailbox is full"?

you might consider getting a certified tech in to set things up for you

A good tech who does this every day and knows the system can tweak it and make suggestions so your taking maximum advantage of your investment

You may have another mailbox taking on messages that could be causing the system to be full? Turn off any mailboxes that aren't being used. I would have a tech come out and look for any mailboxes. It does help sometimes if you don't work on them everyday to have another set of eyes look at the problem.

not "another set of eyes " as much as a trained , experienced set of eyes who knows exactly what hes looking at and for

You must check to see if mailbox 600 is a Personal Mail box or Call Routing (Pgm 8005). If it is a call routing box, it is assigned a Dial Action Table (also in Pgm 8005). If this is the case, look at the programming for the Dial Table (pgm 8008).... see if the Time Out option or any other option is sending the caller to another mailbox or station.
