My tech is trying to get music on hold to work, and he is having no luck at all. We have an outside source, and he is pretty sure he is plugging into the correct port. He isn't sure what the settings are. If you guys could help verify the port and settings, I would greatly appreciate it.
Much Thanks

Set 10-04-01 to EXTERNAL
Set 10-21-04 to CN-8= External MOH/CN9=External Speaker

For the record, you could just go into the wizard for MOH...

Apologies: the setting in 10-21-04 does not show up in the wizard.

If your tech can't connect MOH than he or she should not be allowed anywhere near this system. Call in a certified tech.

We had a site here last week that external MOH would not work. The tech in the finish put in a LIU and all went well. Must have been something from the external music source shunting down the feed..

Hey everybody,
we just got our new system and we want to switch to external MOH.
However, Set 10-04-01 to EXTERNAL
Set 10-21-04 to CN-8= External MOH/CN9=External Speaker is not available in the system data.
We do have SA access level and WebPro 4.01...so we should be able to make these changes, or not?

could you help me out guys?

Sweet, thanks for the hind paulw.
external MOH is now working, with poor sound quality though.
Does the vs8100 system require a mono cable?
