Hi,
I have a NEC Electra ELite IPK 11 and ELITEMAIL at work. I am trying to change the one touch dialing in the web interface. It was originally assigned to virtual extension group 260. And this virtual extension is assigned to few extensions. I removed every extension and assigned this virtual extension to a new extension, But the call is going no where, I removed the virtual extension number from the one touch dialing and gave the basic extension number in there then the call gets rerouted without a problem, But its not the proper way to do it, what if i need mutliple extensions to get that incoming call, i need to use the virtual extension again but its not sending calls to one of the extension, please help me out in reconfiguring this...

Did You try Memory Block 15-09?

I took a look at 15-09 but its showing the option of Virtual Ring Assignment modes in there, It has function keys on left side and then check boxes for different modes. How should is check these boxes

Click on the drop down button for the Ext. you are programming and Click on the box for the line key you want to ring, If you put the Virtual on button 8 of a phone put a check mark function 08 of that Ext. Mode 1 should be day ring and Mode 2 should be for Night ring. (after Hours)

Thanks for the answer rick its working absolutely fine now.. I have one more question one of the extensions is not recieving calls from outside, the direct line to that extension works fine, but when people call main line and dial his extnsion thn it goes to voice mail automatically... How can i solve it....

ICM means do u mean internally? yes he can recieve calls internally when we dial his extension and he can recieve calls when people dial his direct line number, he is unable to recieve calls when people call main number and dial his extension number..

from his phone call voice mail and go into his personal options then transfer options she'll ask "call transfer to your work phone is (on/off) make sure it is set to on.
