We are using DIDs to call fwd out to Agents cell numbers via virtual stations. CID is not being passed on to the cell, but a regular call from all of the digital stations passes the CID when making an outbound call.

What are we missing?

hi,

the external callers number is not forwarded on to the cell phone, probably this is not supported by the telco. maybe you can ask them.

The Aspire won't pass the caller ID through the virtuals and onto the far end, which would be the Salespersons cell phone.

Call field engineering at NEC. This might not be a supported feature with virtual numbers.

Are you using mobile extension with 7.0 software and a PRI?

No, we are not using Mobile Extension.The s/w is 6.01 and using PRI. I think NEC said it wont pass the CID in any configuration.

It won't pass on the "cell phone" number calling into the phone system. But,If I remember right it showed pass on caller id for the trunk that is ringing your phone. So you can set up the caller id for that trunk to be something different then your main number. This would at least let you know that a caller hit your system.
