OK I have loaded R6 Enhanced license and the IPLB board. Configured the 8100 for NAT and opened and forwarded the ports on the router. Max call 20 minutes and what do you know "Network Busy Restart" just like before in release 5. Has anyone had any luck?

I just setup this morning my first NAPT Ip phone.
Used the document on NEC's site and so far it's working.
I will see if we are having the network-busy/restart issues and post back.

Mine was doing the same reset as yours.
Here's what I changed to get it to work (so far):
84-24-28 set to G.729
84-23-01 through 84-23-04 = double all default timers.

I also set to G.729 but as per the tech notes I reduced 84-23-01, 02 to 1/2 of default. Also must ensure SIP ALG is off/disabled. So far I have been on 3 calls of over 1 hour and all good.

OK We have tried the phones for about 5 days now and i would say running about 95% I have not had a call drop on me while on the phone but on 2 occasions have looked over and noticed the set restarting. Not sure why?

Having to use G729 is not going to go down well with some people I know as it's only one step removed from GSM cellular speech quality. Normally you want G711 or better..

I've been away the last two weeks and our guys last week put in a IPLB card into our in-house system. Took a fone home last nite to test and with G711 set it rebooted about every 15~ 20 minutes. Set it to G729 and was Ok but I did see it at the login prompt this morning. Now doing the same tests here at work via one of our spare ADSL circuits..

We are getting about the same results. One router is Linksys flashed with Tomato phone resets every hour or so. Another tech has a all in one modem/router did not work at all. Placed the phone in the DMZ and all seems well. Not quite sure what NEC fixed here?
