back on site today , I looked at 4-10 and the ports all showed extension numbers (I'm in slot 5 and ports 9-16 all had extn numbers assigned)
when I call the extensions I get a busy but no DT at the block so I'm assuming bad card ?

slot one is fixed , two has no amp connection , I'm not sure whats in 3 and four but they are populated 5 was the first available slot and according to my read of the manual it comes off on Amp two ,the first 8 pairs

the way I read it slot 1 is telephhone 1-8, 5 is telephone ports 9-16

I do have talk battery on those pairs just no DT

* Series 8000 or higher
ô€€€ PFT circuits are only connected to AMP3.
ô€€€ AMP1 is connected to S1, S2, and S3.
ô€€€ AMP2 is connected to S4, S5, and S6.
ô€€€ AMP3 is connected to S7 and S8.
If Your working on a Elite 192, it should start on Red/Brown Pair.
If S1 is the only Slot with an ESI then your ports would be 9-16.
Sounds like an Elite 48, what color is the KSU?

In a 48 slot 2 is reserved for MIF card. I would assume you have 2 COI 4 cards since there are 2 cards in slots 3 + 4.

You typically would assign your card in 7-1, then assign station numbers in 4-10. That should be all there is to an analog port.

You could check 7-2 to make sure it shows TEL.

Sounds like you may have a bad card OR bad card slot.

Try deleting the card and moving it, if no go then try another card. If you need one, let me know via PM.

SL cards are a rare find lately for some reason.

OH.... is it an SLI B/E combo card??? they are only supported in the 48/192 with 9700 series software.
