I'm gonna mess around and get organized, and I'm trying to get a Palm Vx setup. Is there a way to export all my contact info and such from Outlook to the Palm software so I can Hotsync it? I used to have an old compaq of some sort and I was able to sync my e-mail and even had mobipocket putting the daily news on there, but I can't get this palm to sync with anything other than the palm desktop. When I go in to setup the only options I have are for the sync method like com port and such but not what files or folders I want to sync. Any help would be appreciated

If you stick in the disk that came with the palm, there should be either some palm conduits or you can install or pocket mirror.
If it's Pocket mirror, there will be a link to "Learn more about syncing with Outlook" that may be the one you want.

you will need a third party sync software in order to do Outlook. It is called intellisync and is made by Puma software. I might have an old copy laying around I can send you. Reb, Pocket PC is the standard nowadays. Palm Vx is a bit old.

Thanks for the help guys, yeah I'm a little behind the times this unit is a hand me down from higher on the food chain than me. I was just tinkering with it mainly to have all my contact info handy. I would get a better one, but I don't think I would use it enough to justify spending any money on it, besides, I would probably lose it before the credit card bill came in.
