I got the higher end Nvidea video card, high reslolution screen, 2 gigs RAM, Core Duo...Wireless...SATA HDD....
Funny thing..when I first priced it, with Dell's discounts, my $1750 laptop was $1550....If I added another $150 in options, so the price was $1900, they gave me an extra discount down to $1450..Funny math, but I won't complain. Just make sure you get the next day complete care mobile plan. Covers everthing, even accidents....and next business day..
I like the lighter weight of this setup as well..and if you ad the bluetooth option, Logitech makes a really nice bluetooth external mouse that will sync right with the laptop, so you don't need any additional adapters to get a nice external portable mouse. Don't get the thumbreader option! I have heard issues with it and docking the machine.
