I have a Repartee 7.44. I am setting it up on a Mitel SX-200EL with COV integration. Whenever I dial the voicemail hunt group I get the opening greeting and not the mailbox for the extension from where I am dialing. Active Voice calls this easy message access.
What do I do to get this to work?

I don't know anything about the Mitel, but I can help you a little. On the Repartee's Switch setup screen, place your cursor on the switch type and press F1 twice. It should give you some instructions on how to set up the Mitel and the Repartee.

>>Figured it out, needed to add Superset automatic dial to COS for Vm ports.<<
I am trying to integrate this Repartee to my mitel. It is a COV integration.
My problem is message waiting. When the system tries to light the lamp for the extension, the VM port says COLLISION and then it goes to OPENING BOX.
Right now the message waiting on string is: \K7,4,X,\K3,\K0, Right now the message waiting off string is: \K7,4,X,\K4,\K0,
For the mitel the the message waiting sequence is *41 1 + extension for on and * 41 2 + extension for off.
WHen I replace the Repartee message waiting string with the Mitel sequence it still says COLLISION and then Opening Box.
I can set and clear lamps from any phone, including phones set up like the VM ports. What am I doing wrong? I think it is on the VM side.

Are the ports set as A/L? If so, try setting them as A/D.

Another question: Is it possible to re-load the voicemail software by just popping in the CD? The hard drive is fine, but I want to wipe out the voicemail configuration ( I think I may have screwed some stuff up).

Yes. And you can still retain the current database. I strongly suggest referring to the install guide which takes you through the process step by step.

thanks, perfect. I'm thinking of updating the hardware. its a DFI PC. What PC would you recommend to re-build the voicemail? The card inside is a VBPC.

You don't need anything above a Pentium 2 300 mhz. Besides, you don't have a lot of choices because the voice board is an ISA type which means you'll need a motherboard with an ISA slot.
