I have a Octel 100 that I want to learn more about. The issue, I do not have the main password. Is there a way to go in the back door or some other way to reset the password?

This is not the sort of information we give out here - there's too much potential for hacking.
Maybe you could track down an Octel rep in your area that would dial in and default the password for you. There might even be someone on this board that could do it. Anyone?

There is a file that contains the level 2 and 3 passwords in the C:\CVR1 directory that you can delete. Restart the system and the passwords will be defaulted. You'll lose the greeting assignments, business hour definitions, and holiday assignments, but that should not be a big deal to re-assign. Let me know if you want more info, I'll PM you...
