What about DSL filters? Probably an obvious statement, but sometimes overlooked. I have seen DSL modems sync w/ the DSLAM but not pull any IP addresses due to missing or incorrectly installed filters.

Did the ISp supply the modem? If so they should have tested to make sure they could get out - did they do that?
Obviously the first thing to do is plug directly into the modem and make sure your TCP/IP settings are set to "obtain address automatically" disable your ethernet connection on your computer and then enable it again. At that point you should be able to route out. If not then it is a problem with the programming in the modem and your ISP should be able to walk you through some of the programming the others have mentioned above. If you can route out then you can work your way forward from there to figure out what piece of equipment is the problem.

Sorry for the delay in getting back on here and letting you all know what the problem was. We just had to bridge the modem and router, and then everything popped up just like it should be! I can't believe that! Oh, well, I am glad, at least the IP phones and computers are working now. Please, all of you, accept my deepest thanks for your help!
