Once upon a time, there was a product called "Phone Puck" and was available in models MK-1 and MK-2.
It rested in the receiver well and slid or tipped to operate the hookswitch. It would be similar in use to the Cradle Mate handset lifter except that the handset was left off the set all the time.
Does anyone have a picture of one of these or know if there is anything still like it on the market? Sandman doesn't have any info and I suspect the product was made before the internet was invented.

I remember similar devices in the UK sold for people with disabilities; the phone handset was held next to the ear on a gooseneck stalk.
This was in the days when plug-in phones were new and exciting (and expensive) in the UK.

Boy Dave I haven't seen any of those for a long time...used to have a couple around here some place that I used with the old headsets so i didn't have to have a handset on the phone..I will look around and see if I can find them...
