There are many different ways to connect or pin out a db-9 or 25. There is no actual serial standard. I have connectors pinned for ATT, Nortel, Comdial and one pinned for a large tape library. On the data side, serial networks are still the workhorse and they will all run over cat5!

Thanks for all of the information guys.
I've placed my order and it should be arriving shortly. If I run into trouble creating teh connector I'll let you know.
Who knew it would be so difficult to get a simple adapter.
