Is there such a Comdial system as an SM lite? Phone system, not voice mail. I have a customer that has one and wants to add voice mail. It is a gray colored cabinet, but I could not find many lables.

What model phones are attached? The gray cab is a DSU-II. This system has no software cartridge as all software was activated by key codes.

DTMF, I got your mail. I will swing by the site and look at the system type again.

Well, I went by the site. The only tag I could find was a small white one that says J1632. I am assuming this is a 16x32. It looks like it had 32 telephone ports wired up. It was a grey cabinet with all the connectors coming out of the right side. On the front of the cabinet there were what appears to be two expansion slots that were not in use. I need to know if this will take a small office lite voice mail with an IVPC board to use the comdial digital ports.

So they made the DSU II in a black and gray cabinet, huh? How is setting up the voice mail on these. I use Key voice all the time, so the voice mail part is not an issue, but I am not familiar with how to program a Comdial system.

Z, It's fairly easy, I have the manuals for the Key Voice and the DSU II. Go to the moderators cat for the links.
