When an outside caller uses one extension, that person does not get the call.
If anyone else's extension is used the call goes through.
Where in the documentation kind I find how to correct this?
Thank you and have a great day!

Hello DataScrubber and welcome to the board. I am not 100% clear on your question. Do you mean an outside caller chooses an extension through the auto-attendant? And when that certain extension is chosen, there is a problem, or as you said 'that person does not get the call'?

Hello Hacky,
Thank you for your response and greeting!

Yes that is exactly what I was trying to say.
The auto-attendant answers and the extension is pushed in, and the call does not go through to our person.

I was thinking, could this be due to the person not setting up their voice mail?
Thank you.

Yes--If you have a KeyVoice voice mail,(& I'm assuming you do) then the AA of the VM won't recognize an extension if it doesn't have a VM box set up for that extension.

Hello All,
I have been asked the true problem.
What the user wants to know is why does their last name's first three letters not dial through?
I guess this would be a Dial by Name feature that I do not know how to populate. Any know where I should begin?

Ah ha..they are not in the directory. There are many ways to do this and many customers are site specific. Some have the enduser enter the directory info during first time mail box setup via the tutorial. Sometimes the installers put it in via database tools. You're going to have to put the data in the appropriate fields in the mailbox administration software or turn the tutorial back on for that box and have the user enter the first three letters of their last name when prompted.
