The model # is on the same tag as the serial number, it'll look like..NO1024 or K824 or N816.. something like that.

I have a couple A-leads somewhere if you can't find any

For the older systems, an OPX-X unit will allow up to two analog devices to be connected to the system. This unit will take up two adjacent multi-line station ports and requires its own power.

The newer systems will support the ATI-X, which does the same thing.

Both devices will allow the Polycom unit to function as any other phone on the system, however you will be limited to only one outside call. Multi-line conference is not supported.

Still, in order to give you the best advice, we really need to know what the model number of the main control unit. Even the color of the cabinet will help point us in the right direction. The very old ones are ash in color (light beige) and the newer ones were black.

If you were to use an A-Lead adapter, you'd be limited to only one line on the system. If that line was in-use, you would interrupt the call in progress on that line when trying to use the Polycom.

Hi All, Written on that tag with the S/N is the folowing: 14328.1 REV.VX 9-91K. (Some of the letters are faded out but this looks to be accurate.)The CPU box is ash in color.I've also found an Attendant's Guide that says "Executech Hybrid/Key System".I am sure, however, that it is an Executech II.

I need a little clarification, please. My SoundPoint Pro is a 2-line, 2-mic Polycom. I've interpreted the answers I've gotten to say that I can make an appearance in my office of 2 of the CO lines going into the Comdial for this SoundPoint & by using A-Leads on EACH of those lines I can have the lamps lit when they're in use by the SoundPoint? (Assuming I use the 7 & 8 lines?) Correct?

You have the 1432 B...some old technology..not sure if it had the A-lead deal or not.

Do I understand that I should still be able to double-tapped those lines but may not be able to have the lights lit when in use? If so, this may not be the end of the world for the few conference calls I'll be making...BUT if so, will that "toggle" suggestion I had work? Could I toggle those lines to direct them either into the system or to the jacks in my office?

The 1432B has A lead control on lines 7 and 8 only.

If you want to toggle the lines that is OK, just remember they will not be available when someone presses line key 7 or 8 and you have them toggled to the Polycom. Everyone will have to be on board with your plan.
