Mark, Is there anything special about the cable used to connect to the system. I have apparently misplaced the one that came with the system.

It's a standard null modem cable. Nothing special.

Isn't the cable just straight through for connecting to the internal voicemail board, the same cable that's used for connecting to the DX80/DX120 CPM (processor) board? The one I remember as needing a null modem cable is the Debut.

I use the same cable for both systems, the one that comes with the dx80 voicemail. I always thought it was a null modem but I could be wrong, it happened before, once. smile

Mark,
As a follow up to your post about setting mailbox 888 to extension 101 so that you do not need to check two mailbox, how would you go about doing that?
I assume this is a setting that you would do in the 7271C via Keylink?

Yes, it's on page 2 of the 888 mailbox programming, set it to call forward to 101 after 0 minutes. If you have access to the system via key link, you can also go in to the class of service and set the operator number to 101 for each COS used by a mailbox. Usually just 0 and 7. But what have done so far should stop calls to 888 and forwarding will pick up any strays.
