Hello. I have a Prostar 816 and I think my toddler was playing around with the phone and now one of my 4 phone lines is on infinite hold. It is a solid red light, and I can't disconnect it. Any ideas how to reset it without turning the main system off? I don't want to do that because I don't want to lose the programming on my phones. Thanks for your help!

I don't know of anyway todo it but if you loose your programming when power is killed your cmos battery is either dead or not turned on check to see if you have the jumper set right with the mannual if it is go to radio shack and get a 3.6 volt nicad phone battery and solder it on. make sure you turn the power off.

why not try and unplug all your phones and plug them back in one at a time plug the one he was playing with last it almost sounds like a phone is off the hook if its in a home look for spills in set ,a bashed hookswitch ,stuck buttons <font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by kmoody: Hello. If you disconnect the line from the ksu I would think the switch would drop it.
