Hi there, I think I'm going mad! Does anyone out there know how to program the voicemail to forward calls externally?? All we keep ending up with is the day main menu.

Is there any info to hand regards using the VM to be an AA??

ANY help would be greatly apprecialted.

Dave

The svmi 20 can do AA along with a multitude of features. Do you have the admin manual?

If so then you need to connect to the 20 via a pc and run hyper terminal. Unfortunately most of the programming is done there and not via the keyset.

Feel free to pm any of the very intelligent people here and I am sure you will find the help you seek.

I have connected and set up the AA, however on one of the options I need connect to another system (predictive dialler). I am doing this Via a second primary rate card (trunk group 800) so for option 1 on the AA I am sending that to virtual extention 3501 which then should forward all on to 800. However the voicemail does not like the external transfer from an incoming call.

Even if we just dial into the voicemail and try to use the 'personal services' option for external break out the call is failing.

The link through to the predictive dialler via the virtual extension (even through a DDI/ANI) works just fine, but not when we use the VM.

In the UK there is no manual for the SVMI 20 E we only have the SVMI 8 manual??? If you have a later one I am jealous. Any chance of a copy??

Thanks for the quick response, we have to have this thing working by Monday!

The 7200 does not use the 8e  only the 20 which is really only capable of 12 ports.

The programming is the same however with the exception of a few added features.

When you go through the vm it will require added dtmf of routing so why not just set up the outbound forwarding all at the virtual station or for that matter if a call comes in and you are using the aa "thanks for calling for our remote office press 1" set up the 1 in the digit menu to dail what you need. Or is that how its set up now.

I really need a little more detailed info.

If your saying what I think your saying you need to set icm ext frwd to on in MMC 210. I think you will like the result.
