Okay, if I add 5200, that means I will now have 5001, 5003, 5080, 5200, and 8080. Since I'm running Apache on my laptop, instead of onsite, I'm going to have 8080 removed. Instead of going back to the router admin again and again, is there any DOCUMENTATION I can use to give me the port numbers in black and white, rather than getting different information from different people? I went looking earlier, but all I found was the 8080 for connecting to the Apache server, and that doesn't really even apply for me, since my browser, WebMMC Java, and Apache are all on the same machine. If anyone can point me to some documentation where this is spelled out, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

Justin

I checked the logs in the router. Found every time I tried to connect, port 5081 was being requested and blocked. Added it to my list (removed 8080, since there was no reason to have it there). All is well.

To sumarize, I have 5001, 5003, 5080, and 5081 forwarded thru to the MP40. Not sure if it was necessary to have 5001 and 5003, but at this point it's working, and I'm not going to mess with it. On my next one I'll try it with only 5080 and 5081, to see if that's all that's needed.

Anyway, good information to know for the next time around. :thumb:

As mentioned above, a better way to program a system is with an IP phone. There are some things you cannot and don't want to do via software. You do not need an MGI card to use an IP phone for programming.
