It turns out that Equitrac will not talk to the Samsung 7200 via IP, according to their tech. They have a buffer box that collected the SMDR from the previous DCS/SIM module via serial, it buffered the data, and then the Equitrac PC polled the box for the call records. They say that there must be a buffer box in place and they are set up to collect IP SMDR from 'certain systems' - Samsung not being one of them. I asked them beforehand if there were any problems collecting SMDR from IP and they said no, so this hassle is their misplanning. I guess my only option now is to go with an IP to serial converter. We used to use those on the old Intertel CPUs - Axel brand.

Lantronix MSS series works well - we use them to gain remote access via IP to all our OS100's and older 616 ksu and voicemail.
