Thats interesting, on my system an etxn is a valid destination, what version iDCS do you have there? Instead of an analogue extn you could try a virtual extn, by default they are 3501 to 3514, see if you can overflow to that.

Timer, hmmmmm, well there is the external call fwd timer, the AA no action timer, also in 210 there is an option called Chain call forward, which should be on. CO-CO disconnect timer, thats about all I can think of at this late hour.

Since you don't have a voicemail, I guess you are stuck with the AA card solution.

I would first check your system timers. There is a timer called AA NO ACT TIME. (That's how it's displayed in OSM, I don't know what it looks like through a keyset.) Try changing that from 10 to 30 seconds. I think this is the timer that is causing the problems because you can only get a couple of rings before it drops. Since you can't do line supervision through the AA card, the system doesn't know what's happening and after 10 seconds it drops the call.

Also... in the UCD Options, there is a timer for the NEXT function. It's set at 10 seconds. Again try setting that at 30 seconds and see what happens.

I think it's one of those two timers, I just can't remember which one and I don't have time to check it in our lab.

Let me know how it goes.

Hi Mate checked most of the timers and counters I have come across no good at the moment. The AA NO ACT Timer is how long the AA waits after the message is played before it calls the Extn in the no act destination.I not able to overflow to an extn real or virtual. In the programming manual it states you can overflow to a station or station group even on the compact 2.The software is Ver M 2.12,TEPRI V 1.05 and AA V 2.05. I have not given up I am logging into the system at nights and testing the options. Thanks again
