I'm in the same boat as you. I'm using voip-unlimited. Can get inbound but not outbound. Found issue with 4.14, had to downgrade to 2.69.

Due to the dynamic structure of the board, we are making a few changes. The posts that are being moved from the installer’s section to the open forum have been deemed viewable for the public. There are a few caveats to these moves that also pertain to any future topics that you may decide to help with.
1. When posting a possible answer we request that you state facts not opinions.
2. When posting do not include any proprietary information.
3. When posting use this theory; provide information on what to do and not how to do it.

An example would be; in order for you to use the return call feature from the caller ID display. You need to use the least cost routing feature.

A bad example would be; in order for you to use the return call feature from the caller ID display. Go to mmc XXX and insert the digits needed. Then go to mmc XXX and XXX to activate LCR.

We still encourage the use of the PM feature or email if you plan on providing technical information that is above the user guide or admin programming ability. For the installer that has a technical question you can still use the installer’s category with out fear of your post being moved.

If you feel that a topic should not be in the open forum please make your request known to a moderator for that category. Include a link to the thread and your reasons for the request.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Hi All

I am currently using Voiceflex for SIP.

The issues i have had are as follows,

DTMF unreliable, Change the DTMF type in MGI DSP mmc to Inband (RFC2833)

On version 4.14, there is a problem when sending DDI's assigned to an extension. The work around for this is as follows.

Assign the DDI to a SIP account using the Voiceflex portal, dont forget to push the settings to the server.
Enter the SIP account number as the DDI number for the extension in OSM or IT Tool. The Voiceflex system will allow this, and then the CLI will display the DDI assigned.
This will only work if all SIP account passwords are the same as the main account set in the SIP server MMC.

There is currently and issue where you cant here the ringing tone when calling landlines, i will post more when i have a work around or this is sorted.

regards

Adam

The ringing tone problem is due to the way the sip server is sending the ring, it only affects os7100 (both 4.14 and 4.14k), and will be fixed in 4.21 (or so im told)

It affects 7200 4.14 also, the problem is that the OS dosent respond properly to the 183 message sent by the sip server.

There is a work around with voiceflex, but not very good as you loose the ability to hear busy tones and the like.
