Set up an IVR with a DX 120, all is well except:
I set up time switching 8am to 6 pm M-F and 8am to 1pm Sat. For the life of me I can't find where to turn on Auto Time Switching. In manual it shows programming the Times and mentions that you must then activate Auto Switching but does not reference
a page.
Also the Blf button for 1 phone is on at all ext.
cannot call this phone and it will not ring, all other functions OK. DND is off.

Should be in your user-guide. F63 then your password. You might have to do it from an attendant set. Settings, I think are Day, Night, Time and Alt. You want Time.

What extension is the BLF button programmed for??

What happens when you pull the jumper to it? And or pull the mod plug from the 103 port?

That blf light on stations has been an ongoing unsolved issue for several years. Out of about 70 locations I have one that this occurs on about every 6 months. Even after changing out the system and them moving across town to a new location it still happens 2 to 3 times a year. The only resolution I have found is a cold start and reload the programming. Also it happens on different extensions pretty randomly. Comdial has been no help. I think it has to do with some unique key strokes a user performs by accident, I have not been able to reproduce the trouble but the cold start fixex it temporarly. I have the latest available software in this system also, that's first thing Vertical Comdial wants. Didn't help.

1) Call the specific station, and begin to leave a message in the voice mailbox.
2) Leave the phone off-hook (while leaving a message) and go to the specific DSS mapped station (example, 107).
From the specific station (example, 107), when the Answering Machine Emulation signal sounds:
3) Press the VM key to monitor the message.
When the display shows “Monitor VM Call”:
4) Hang up.
5) Go back to the station from which the call was initialed and hang up.

This is easier than a cold start

Thanks
